These are the new Sydney FC kits 15/16, SFC’s new home and away strips for the upcoming Hyundai A-League season. These are the first uniforms made by Puma for the Sky Blues after the German manufacturer inked a four season deal last month to replace Adidas as kit partners. Puma will make kits for Sydney FC till the end of the 2018/19 A-League season.
Sydney finished second in the regular 2014/15 A-League season but lost 3-0 to minor premiers Melbourne Victory in the grand final at AAMI Park.
The uniforms were officially revealed on July 21, 2015. The home shirt is in Sydney’s traditional sky blue
colours paired with navy shorts and sky blue socks. White has been chosen as the colour of the away jersey. The goalkeeper top will be green, and WebJet.com.au are sponsors for all the strips.
White logo on white background?
Home kit’s ok, away not so much.
There’s something about big colour print sponsors that just doesn’t look right. Like the Chevrolet logo on the United kit and the Mazda logo on the Fiorentina kit, all shiny and colourful. Maybe it’s because I’m old and I miss 80s and 90s football, but to my mind a sponsor logo should be a flat plain colour, preferrably all white or black.
O whare o whare has the Creativity gone O whare o whare has it gone ? lol
I was born in the 90s and I absolutely agree! This one takes it to a new level, the big plane just looks ridiculous. Could’ve been a nice jersey otherwise.
Also, is this the first puma jersey this year not to have the bars on the sleeves? Can’t remember any others.
Like it. Sponsor`s logos are getting out of control.
